Hello all :) Today is just a grand day, I'm honestly busting! But first off, I wore this outfit yesterday when me and Saieesha went to a mall in Edmonton. I just wanted to wear something comfortable. I didn't buy anything, we just had nothing to do so we went and ate haha, it was great.

But today!! We went to West Edmonton mall for some shopping. When I was in Calgary a few days ago, I saw these high waist leopard print jeans at Urban Outfitters that I loooved. They were pretty pricey, and kinda out there so I gave myself a few days to think about it. Well today we went back to Urban and found them! I decided to just buy them, because I couldn't stop thinking about them and I think it's good that I'm buying something more outgoing. How would you guys wear them? I want some ideas :)

aaaaand also, my older cousin Natasha recently spent all her Shoppers Optimum points and got $190 worth of makeup for $26 (woo0o0ow jealous). I was looking through it all and she showed me this lip gloss she bought from lancome called Techno Brick. I loved it, and then she told me that it was the colour that Emma Watson wore on this month's Vogue cover! She had brought the cover into shoppers and told them thats the colour she wanted, sooo I decided to go and buy the same one! hehe now I can say I wear the same colour as Emma Watson..it's kinda sad that that's the main reason why I bought the gloss..

Anyways I'm still in Edmonton and off to Vancouver on Wednesday to visit my grandpa, so I'm not sure when my next post will be! Hope everyone is doing well :)

Hello all (: I'm sorry for the lack of posts, I got back from Vancouver yesterday, and I'm off to Edmonton tomorrow ! I'm visiting my cousins who are basically my sisters. We're going to go to Calgary and stay at the Delta for a night and go shopping! I'll be in Edmonton until next Thursday, so there probably wont be anymore outfit posts until then. But I'll try to post in my free time :) I just wont have my picture room or my camera (I'm scared I'll break it there, so I"m just bringing my cheap digital one). 

I really have to apologize for the crummy photos, I was in a rush and just ugghghhh. I couldn't get the settings right and the lighting was all bad, the top of the shirt is all mesh but you can't see it:( Oh well, i'll make sure the next outfit post is better !

How is everyones summer so far? Anyone travelling anywhere exciting?

1:Hello (: So my Vancouver trip has been rescheduled ! I'm leaving tomorrow and I get back on Wednesday. I'm going to Playland and then shopping the next day! We'll be going shopping downtown on the streets and at Pacific Center, and then we'll be bussing to Metrotown. I'm so excited!

2:I did my hair after watching Katie (of Cherry Humbug) in her "Bardot Bombshell" hair tutorial. I've just recently started reading her blog and I'm in love with it! I suggest you all follow her on bloglovin. THe video was great! and the hairstyle only took about seven minutes, it was very helpful :)

3:I wore this outfit out to dinner with my parents. We went to Ric's Grill, it's definitely a favourite in my family:) I love buying new items, but I hate it when I buy something so versatile and then wear it all the time! This wrap has been worn like, 4 days a week since I bought it! It honestly goes with everything

Happy Summer to everyone (: I actually wore this outfit with the sunhat, but when I set up my camera to take pictures I realized that they would turn out very bad (my test shot is above) because the hat blends in with the background ! So I quickly ran to my room and put the headwrap on, because the outfit wouldn't be complete without something else. I like the ensemble with the hat sooo much better, it's so much more beachy and cute, but the headwrap had to do. Something about it's colour is throwing me off though, it doesn't really go with the other colours :s

Short post today as I am getting ready to go see a dance show :) Happy Canada day to those of you who celebrate it ! Tomorrow's the big day, what are your plans?

Finally an outfit post (: hoorah hoooraaaah. I love this outfit, I wore it to my friend's place yesterday just to hangout, but I can't wait to wear it out. If I look at it a different way, sometimes the hair and the wrap combine to a sort of pimp-esue look, which is definitely not a good thing haha. But yeah, it's a little more out there than what I normally wear, what do you guys think?

I'm almost in grade 12 ! What a bummer though, my summer hasn't started exactly how I wanted. There were two class of 2011/2012 grad stags in June, and I planned to attend both, them being my first grad stags. Seriously, the last week of school, all i talked about were the parties. What a shame that the first one was shut down, and the second I was out of town for. I was bummed, but then I thought, hey I have my Vancouver trip with my friends coming up ! Aaaaand then that got cancelled too. What gives?!

Usually my family and I take a holiday every summer. We've gone to Europe, the US etc etc, but this year we can't because of my grandpa being ill (and i definitely do not mind staying in town for him). I'm not used to being home all summer, so I think I'm going to get a job as a hostess..I'm ashamed to say I've never had a job before..harhar.

Soo, I have a giftcard for aldo, enough to buy a pair of shoes, but I don't know what to get ! I have such a problem when it comes to gift cards because I'm scared to spend them and see something better that I could've bought later. I can't decide if I should get a cute pair of summer sandals, or a pair of loafers that I can wear in the fall too. Heeelllppppp !

Ah an outfit post finally :) I do realize that this skirt was in my last outfit post..and I don't really like doing that. I mean, I don't like wearing the same piece in to consecutive outfit posts, I'm not sure why haha. Anyways nothing is really new here, I've been out shopping lots but I feel almost "shopped out." I'm not finding anything in the stores I usually shop at (H&M, American Apparel, Foever 21). Seriously, my whole wardrobe is built upon those three stores. I need to shop at different places ! But it's hard living in a small town in Canada. I wore this out to brunch today at Cora, I just ate my heart out. Two eggs poached, potatoes, toast and fruit. I seriously recommend this place. Now that we've discussed my breakfast...

I've really been into sleeveless blouses lately, I think they're an easy way to "fashion" up any lazy outfit. Worn with skinny jeans or over leggings would be an easy way to quickly look cute.

How was everyone's may long weekend? :) I'm extremely sad its over, but it was fun while it lasted !

Hello all :) Not too much to say today, except school's been extra busy this week because of math ughh. But my birthday's comin up ! weeoo, I think I'm going to have a sixties themed party at my house. I never really had big theme birthday parties (last year was my first, it was a masquerade) but they've grown on me, and its just another excuse to have a party so why not right ? 

All I really want for my birthday is a Canon Rebel XT or XTi, I just need a beginners camera for now, but I'm not sure which I should consider? If any of you know about cameras and have any advice at all just let me know please and feel free to comment :)

Rolling in the deep

Hello all, I'm very proud of myself right now. I've been blogging a lot more often ! Usually I don't have the time, and I still don't, but I'm making this blog one of my priorities, because I love it and I want to see where it goes. A big thank you again to all who read and follow my blog :) And thanks to whoever comments ! I read and appreciate every single comment I get, and I"m still trying to find an html code to let me have a reply option. If I get a comment from someone I'll always go onto their blog (if they have one) and give them a comment back, so that's my way of replying and saying thanks :)

I'm really loving Adele right now, her new album 21 is incredible; I still love 19 though. I can't get Rolling in the Deep out of my head, soo catchy. I"m slightly annoyed with the radio stations in town though because they've really been overplaying it, and I honestly hate that because then I get so sick of it so quick !

My friend Bailey is just getting started with her blog, she has great style so I'm expecting good things, everyone should check it out and keep an eye on it :)

A lack of colour

Sooo I was in Edmonton for Easter as you all know and we did some shopping on White Ave. They have the coolest stores, like Divine, this one store filled with new and vintage fashion forward items. Plus they have every single type of converse  you could imagine ! The prices aren't exactly reasonable, but they have great sales and I personally think every piece is worth the splurge. I got this shirt over the weekend from Divine, and I'm in love. It was makred down from 60 to 28 (yay) in a size too big, but oh well I still think it looks alright?

I'm honestly not too sure how much I love this outfit, I like my outfits to 'blend' together, and I think the accessories stand out too much..if that makes sense.

Hooray outfit post ! I love love love this outfit. Its so comfy and casual, but still has style. I got my inspiration for this outfit from Bonnie Barton's blog post, though I think she pulls off this look a lot better than me haha. I love her blog, she has amazing vintage-y style, you should all check it out ! She makes herself look so tall in all of her photos, but she's the same height as me ! (5"4) I think it's the way she takes her pictures. 

Ah, I think I might start taking full body shots rather than above the knee photos for outfit posts. I never do full body shots because I rarely incorporate shoes into my outfits, I'm always wearing my black studded flats from H&M or my black Steve Madden oxford flats, they just go with everything ! I've never been a big show person, so I just stick with the comfy :)

Its Just Business

I've never really been one to wear blazers, they just aren't really my style. But throughout the past year or so, oversized menswear has been everywhere. I love it, but since I can't pull off the loose fitting office pants (which look great on the people who can, btw), I was tempted to buy this big blazer from H&M. I purchased it last year in march, but for some reason it has remained unworn in my closet until now. Oh, wait. My fashion forward friend did once borrow this for a birthday party, since I for some reason was too scared to wear it..

What pushed me to pull the blazer out and finally wear it was seeing these photos on Lily Melrose's blog. I've been reading her blog for a long time, and I find she inspires a lot of my outfits (I've used her photos in both of my 'how they wear it' posts. She puts together simple ensembles that absolutely always look incredible. I wanted to copy her whole look after seeing her photos with the big black blazer ! I love how refined it looks with a casual tunic and a statement necklace. I encourage all of you to follow her blog and her lookbook page, trust me, you wont regret it :)

Anyways I decided to take a couple pictures of my face today. I'm not quite blessed when it comes to photography...my dad loves taking pictures so he usually takes my outfit photos, and I asked him to take a couple pictures of my face. He said the lighting was bad and it wouldn't look as great as it could, but I was in a rush and just wanted to get the pictures done. I love getting dressed, but i don't like pictures being taken of myself, I think I look so awkward ! But oh well, I'm hoping to get into fashion not modelling....I hope the pictures turned out okay, i'm not really sure how to judge a good photo from a bad one !
